My Hexie Quilt Work Flow

It feels very odd to be writing another post on a “work-in-progress.”  Usually my posts are a big reveal.

But maybe the reveal for me is that it’s okay to slow down a bit with my crafting. I am still sewing for my kids and myself. In fact, I have several garments in progress or completed that I can’t share yet.

I don’t talk about it much (or at all) on the blog, but my first foray into “I craft more than socially acceptable” was actually in the knitting and crocheting world. Continue Reading

Hexagon Adventures

If you follow me on Instagram, you will notice I have started a new adventure in my sewing life!

Several weeks ago, I went to quilt market with the fabulous Katie from Simple Life Pattern Company. It was an amazing and inspiring trip! I came home with lots of ideas and inspiration to bring to my sewing room.
