Welcome Spring with the Rose Dress!

Hi all!  Today we have some news for you – E+M has joined her sister pattern shop Petitboo and we have a special coupon code to share! As part of the re-branding blog tour, I sewed up the Rose Dress.

This simple dress is perfect for all those gorgeous wovens that are hiding away in your stash! I used a pink and white checked cotton from Riley Blake that just seems so cheery and perfect for spring! The dress itself is comfortable and passes the ‘twirl test’ yet is easy to dress up for Easter and other special occasions.

One thing I love about this pattern is the careful attention paid to details and the gorgeous seam finishes. No serger needed for this dress! The bodice is fully lined and thoroughly top stitched.  Side and center back seams that would otherwise be exposed are carefully turned under and stitched, creating a beautiful finish and adding visual interest. The button loop is crafted from fabric and pairs perfectly with the vintage button that we selected from my grandma’s lovely button collection.

The Rose Dress available for sizes 2-10 and can be purchased through both Craftsy and Etsy.  Through Friday, March 10th, use the code petitboo50 for 50% off on all Petitboo patterns on Etsy. But don’t forget to check out Petitboo on Craftsy too… there are some great FREE patterns that are available only there!  And finally, be sure to visit the other stops on this blog tour to check out some other great Petitboo patterns and get inspired! Happy Spring!

This is a beautiful dress! I love the material that was chosen. It kind of has a vintage look which makes it extra special. What a sweet model, too!

So pretty! The dress is so sweet, I love it in this fabric. I think my girls need their own just like it.
