Spring is finally  starting to peek its head out here in the Upper Midwest, and the new release from Peek a Boo Pattern Shop is perfect for spring, summer, and year round!

The Mariposa Top and Dress offers 4 sleeve lengths as well as top, dress, and peplum options. The real star of this pattern, however, are the mini and mega ruffles!

I made Miss M three tops during testing. Please note the ruffles were revised after I made my versions to taper more by the waist.

This green shirt is top length with mini ruffles. I love the simple addition of the ruffles to made a basic t shirt more girly.

I also made a peplum version with mega ruffles. This Art Gallery knit was perfect for a comfy spring top.

My favorite version I made during testing was the pink version where I tested out using piping instead of ruffles. I used the same directions and just trimmed the piping cord out of seam allowance.
